Holiday Cheese Ball
bnakashima says:

This recipe was made for the patients and staff at the clinic, we served it with apple slices and low sodium crackers. This was surprisingly good and has been one of the most popular recipes we've ever demo'd. Plus, it was very easy to make! These were a few of the comments we received about this recipe: The nuts give it something special. It was really good, can I have more? Can I have more after (dialysis treatment)? Where did you buy this cheese? It is good! I handed recipe to family member waiting. The cheese ball is rather soft, and the color is salmon-ish pink. It would also make a good spread. Some minced red onion and bell pepper would be excellent additions.

Any suggestions for something other than the nuts? Dietitian comment: You can try dried bread crumbs or chopped parsley.
