I'm wonderimg what the change would be for substituting finely chopped walnuts for the whe chocolate pieces? Dietitian comment: Substitute 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Phosphorus is about the same and potassium is lower.

Pumpkin Cookies

I recently made these for my patients. They said the flavor was good, but they did not flatten down like the picture. They remained in a ball form. What did I do wrong? Thank you. Dietitian comment: You did nothing wrong. We forgot to include to press down the unbaked cookies before placing in the oven. However if you like the rounded the recipe works either way.
