Helpful hints

  • Substitute with any low potassium fruits of your choice. Make it colorful! (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or a mixture).
  • This is my family’s favorite fruit salad recipe and a great potluck item. It’s best to eat it the same day because it can get watery overnight.
  • Reduce ingredients in half to make a smaller amount.

20 grams is an entire day's allotment for someone using a low carb way of eating. Too much sugar.. :( Dietitian comment[INVALID] Each person has individual nutrient requirements.

Tried this recipe and instead of putting the cream cheese mixture over it , I put in separate bowls so that I may take this for work all week. The topping gets a bit solid but I a spoonful of the topping and then put it on the fruit..very very good ...of course my family wants it to be creamier like the recipe calls for.
